Heather Stratton, FNP-C

Integrative Family Nurse Practitioner

For Heather Stratton, great care begins with taking the time to understand the person sitting in front of her. She wants to know what you’ve been experiencing, how it’s affecting your life, and what you hope to feel capable of again. Whether you’re navigating hormone changes, struggling with digestive concerns, or simply tired of feeling unlike yourself, Heather brings curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to finding answers.

Heather joined Kare Health & Wellness in early 2024 after six years as a nurse practitioner in family medicine. That experience gave her a strong clinical foundation, but it also left her wanting more for patients whose concerns remained unresolved. Her family’s own journey through her child’s mental health challenges made that desire deeply personal, leading her to pursue functional medicine and a broader understanding of the connections that shape our health.

Through extensive training with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), Heather has expanded her ability to investigate underlying causes and offer personalized approaches to care. Her areas of focus include integrative primary care and wellness, hormone health, integrative mental health, gut health, acute sick care, and healthy aging.

At Kare, Heather combines that knowledge with the time and attention meaningful care requires. She works alongside her patients to connect their symptoms, health history, and daily habits, then develops a practical plan with their needs and goals at its center. Her approach is thoughtful and collaborative, helping patients understand their health and feel supported as they take their next steps.

What Heather finds most rewarding is seeing hope return to someone who thought feeling better was no longer possible. She is passionate about helping patients feel heard, see new possibilities, and move forward with a provider who is invested in their progress.
