IV Methylsulfonylmethane Therapy
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound and a common dietary sulfur source. Sulfur is needed to form the sulfur-containing amino acids methionine, cysteine, cystine, homocysteine, and taurine.

How it Works
Increased sulfur levels also increase synthesis of SAMe, glutathione, taurine, and N- acetylcysteine (NAC).
MSM supports immune function by inhibiting the transcription of nuclear factor kappa-light-chain enhancer of B cells (NF-xB), a pathway which produces pro-inflammatory cytokines.
MSM reduces the expression of interleukin IL-1, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor-x (TNF-x), and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). This allows for substantial reduction in systemic inflammation.
MSM also acts as an antioxidant.
