With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Kelsi Goans, MSN, FNP-C, brings both deep clinical knowledge and genuine compassion to every patient she serves.
Her approach to medicine is rooted in one simple belief — that true healing begins when patients feel heard, understood, and supported.
Kelsi’s journey in healthcare began more than 12 years ago and has spanned multiple disciplines — from oncology to women’s health to integrative medicine.
Early in her career, she worked as a nurse in an infusion center, caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy and other advanced cancer treatments.
Those years taught her not only the science of medicine but the importance of emotional resilience, hope, and the power of personalized care.
While earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University, Kelsi trained in a wellness clinic that specialized in hormone replacement therapy for women.
While working there, she witnessed the transformative difference that functional and integrative medicine could make.
Seeing women regain their energy, balance, and confidence inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping women thrive — not just survive.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Kelsi worked in women’s oncology, where she combined her medical expertise with a strong sense of advocacy.
She became deeply passionate about helping women navigate complex health challenges and empowering them to take control of their health journey.
At Kare Health & Wellness, Kelsi provides care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, but she has a special heart for women who feel unheard or overlooked by traditional medicine.
Her goal is to uncover the root cause of illness and help every patient achieve renewed health through functional and integrative care that treats the whole person — mind, body, and spirit.
When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Kelsi outdoors with her husband and two children — hiking, planting flowers, swimming, or shooting hoops together as a family.
She’s also passionate about fitness and strives to live by the same wellness principles she teaches her patients.
Kelsi’s compassion extends beyond the clinic. She volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House and Ozarks Food Harvest, giving back to the community that she’s proud to call home.
Kelsi says, “My favorite part of what I do is helping patients realize they’re not alone. That there’s always hope and there are always options. Every person deserves to feel their best and live fully.”
