Methylene Blue
Transport & Transform
Many people today are increasingly exposed to toxins the everyday environment such as carbon monoxide, cyanide, sodium nitrite/nitrates, acetaminophen, formaldehyde, pharmaceuticals, anesthetics, heavy metals, fluoride, bleach, chemicals in shampoos, deodorants, and soaps.
When our bodies are in toxin overload, our energy supply is depleted and the function of our system suffers. Methylene Blue is helping to combat the negative effects of heavy toxic burdens.
Ingredients: Methylene Blue
Treatment Time: 30 minutes
New Discovery
Methylene Blue is an inexpensive blue dye initially used to illuminate and view microorganisms under a microscope. It was discovered in the 1800s to be an effective treatment of malaria and a decade later was found to have an uncanny ability to select target diseased tissues in the body and provide aid to those first. It provides benefits to the brain and the body, spanning all the way down to the molecular level in the mitochondria.
Methylene Blue’s mechanism of actions include:
- Inhibiting nitric oxide synthesis.
- Increasing oxygen and glucose consumption.
- Increasing HAD/NADH ratio and ATP production.
- Decreasing lactic acid production.
- Inhibiting MAO.
- Acting as an alternative electron carrier in the mitochondrial electron transport chain.
- Inhibiting prolactin and estrogen.
- Increasing thyroid hormone and testosterone levels.
Methylene Blue has many remarkable effects on the body. It helps with a condition called methemoglobinemia in which hemoglobin, contained inside red blood cells, becomes oxidized and loses its capacity to transport oxygen. The body’s energy supply is turned off. This occurs from chemicals poisonings such as carbon monoxide, cyanide, sodium nitrite/nitrates, acetaminophen, formaldehyde, pharmaceuticals, anesthetics, heavy metals, fluoride, bleach, chemicals in shampoos, deodorants, and soaps, and COVID-19. By administering Methylene Blue, methemoglobin is converted back to hemoglobin thereby restoring its oxygen-carrying capacity. Then oxygen can be transported throughout the body to the cells and tissues where it is needed.
Multiple Uses
Methylene Blue when used in conjunction with red/infrared light therapy has potent antimicrobial effects on drug resistant bugs such as Lyme and serious viruses such as COVID, HIV, Zika, and Ebola, as well as more common viruses such as Epstein Barr, CMV, and Herpes Simplex Virus. It quickly crosses the blood-brain barrier and is very effective at enhancing brain function and cognition including memory, attention and emotional regulation. When combining MB with red light therapy it accelerates recovery of metabolically defective brain cells and is thereby an effective treatment for Dementia and Autism.
Surprising Applications
One of MB's most unique and fascinating brain benefits is its ability to release negative feelings associated with past situations allowing one to “move on” from fears or trauma thereby eliminating symptoms of depression and PTSD. MB can relieve pain associated with nerve inflammation/chronic shooting pain, postoperative pain, oral mucositis, arthritis, migraines, and chronic low back pain. MB positively affects the underlying causes of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
MB in combination with red light therapy enhances mitochondrial respiration, which protects and restores respiration in cells, organs, and body systems. Perhaps most importantly, MB targets and restores dysfunctional energy metabolism in cancer cells.
Pharmaceutical grade MB is safe for human use orally and intravenously. It is used sublingually or intravenously prior to our UVBI/polychromatic therapy and photodynamic therapy (PDT). It can also be taken orally at home between these intravenous therapies.
